EcoScrapbooking eBook Launch Party

Happy Earth Day Scrappy Friends!!

Wow, is this an exciting day????  You bet it is!!!!  Today is the day that many of us have
been waiting for....it's our EcoScrapbooking eBook Launch Party.  We are inviting you
to be a part of it.  Here is how it all began.  A couple of months ago or so my sweet and
talented friend Danielle put out a call for all interested scrappers to submit a layout for
her EcoScrapbooking eBook.

I decided to give it a whirl and I submitted a layout.  Guess what?  I was one of 10
designers chosen to be published in her book!!  Can you say WOW again?
I am over the moon excited!!  Do you want to see why?  Drum roll please.......

It is so thrilling....plus I am so happy for my super friend Danielle; she is sooooo talented!!
In addition, I am in the company of 9 other designers who have inspired me beyond belief.
It is also awesome to share ideas with others who are passionate about our environment
and want to preserve our planet.  What better way then to do it with something that we love....
scrapbooking.

This wonderful eBook is filled with lots of Eco-Friendly ideas and layouts.

I can't wait to try these awesome ideas.  I know they will inspire you, too.  Ok, let's
get the inspiration going here with a Blog Hop to honor this day.  Now it is time to
meet the designers who will lead you on your way to Eco-Conscious Scrapbooking.

Enjoy....oh, I have something to share with you today that is inspired by this wonderful
concept of Eco-Consious Scrapbooking.  I made a birthday card from the front
of a 12 x12 paper stack.  Take a look.

I folded the above in half using a bone folder for a card appearance.

Then, it was time to trim the front cover of this stack to make my card.....
Wait till you see....

Here is my completed card!

Now for a detailed shot....

I just couldn't resist using a piece of some packaging from K and Company.

Do you see the number 36?  Well, that is the number of sheets of
paper in this stack.  Ahhhh-and it is also the age of the person I am going to
send this card to.  That was so much fun!!

Supplies:  Paper Stack Cover and tag (K and Company), Tape Runner Adhesive and
3-D dots (EK Success), Button (Recollections) and Sentiment (Pepples).

Thank you so much for sharing this exciting time with me.  I want to say a BIG
THANK YOU to Danielle for all of her hard work, creativity and for making this book
a reality!!  Many thanks to my fellow designers who I have had the privilege of sharing
this journey with....it is a real pleasure!!

My Best,

Renee

  1. I love this card you made and how you used the 36 - very clever. I also loved looking at the book. Thanks for including the link. I've always been an eco-scrapper, but I just didn't know it. I did it because I didn't have a lot of money to buy the extras.
