Eco-Christmas Blog Hop

One of my very favorite blogs to visit is Danielle's blog. She has so many fun and creative things to see there.  I love learning new ways to scrap and craft the eco-friendly way. Today Danielle is having a blog hop and I am taking part in it. How exciting is that. Here we go!!

Oh, by the way, here are the other ladies who are taking part, too. Be sure to visit there blogs also.

Dani: Scrapper on the Street http://scrapperonthestreet.com/
Renee: Charms Buttons & Bows http://charmsbuttonsbows.blogspot.com/ (that's me)
Lisa: The Cherry On Top http://lmtroch.blogspot.com/
Alex: meli-melo studio http://scrapartandstuff.blogspot.com/
Erin: Deeply Rooted Life http://deeplyrootedlife.blogspot.com/
Leslie: Momma Harvey http://www.momma-harvey.com/

The hop starts with Danielle!!

If you came here first, that is alright....you can catch up and see everyone.

I decided to create....ok, see if you can guess. I took the cardboard out of a frame that I recently purchased. It was cool because the center of the cardboard was already cut out just like this.

I chose a favorite piece of cardstock and traced around the outer edges of the cardboard and the inside as well. Then, I cut around the lines I had traced as shown.

I adhered a greeting card from last year to the back of the cardboard using my Glue Dots® mini dot n go. I bet you can tell what it is already....then, I adhered the cardstock by K and Company to the front of the cardboard.

I thought I would dress up the front of my new card or decorative accent (this is very versatile) by adhering snowflake buttons to the cardstock as shown below....oh, and one more thing....I happened to have an applique that matched perfectly for the bottom of my new card, etc.

That was really easy-peasy and so much fun!! Please hop over to Lisa's blog next and see what she has in store. I bet you will like it!!

Thanks so much for popping by. I always love it when you do!!

Happy Holiday,

Renee
